It’s the most wonderful time of the year! That’s right… move over Christmas and New Year’s! The holidays are over, and now it’s time for Chicago Restaurant Week! Though some would argue that this is the true season of celebration, because there’s so much great food, and so little time to try it all!
What is Chicago Restaurant week, you ask? Well, if you’re new in town, or just passing through, It’s an occasion so special that it runs from Friday, January 20th, through Sunday, February 5th! We know what you’re thinking: “that’s longer than a week,” well we have the answer for you. We’re going by happy hour rules! You know how some places have happy hour, but it’s more than one hour? Think of that but in the form of weeks. Everybody deserves a chance to check out all the great spots that are serving up quality eats during restaurant week!
The concept is quite simple: during Chicago Restaurant Week, diners can enjoy special prix fixe menus from restaurants throughout Chicago and nearby suburbs.
Whether you’re just passing through, or a longtime resident, you won’t want to miss this year’s Chicago Restaurant Week. It doesn’t matter if you’re picky, or daring to try anything. With this list of restaurants, there’s sure to be a spot for you to dive into. Or if your inner foodie is begging you to try them all, you can strategically hit up all the spots you’d like!
So what does this have to do with Venteux?
We’re so glad you asked. Venteux will be actively participating in Chicago Restaurant Week, and offering our own prix fixe menu for the occasion. This is actually our first year participating, so we made sure to have an extra menu for everybody to feast their eyes on before actually feasting. The price is right, and the food is hot.
What are we eating?
Let’s just get right into it. There will be 3 courses for the price of $59 per person, and we’re excited to share our delectable delights with you!
1st course: Tarte Flambe or Winter Salad
2nd course: Arctic Char a la meuniere or Mussels in White wine/Pernod
Dessert: Creme Brulee
