Date Night Wednesdays at Venteux

Date nights don’t always come easy. You have to make reservations, hire a sitter, call an Uber, and dress your best! If that’s not enough, you have to impress your date! One thing that’s for sure is that no matter your relationship status– whether you’re on a first date, or keeping the relationship in tip top shape, date night doesn’t have to be difficult.

Date Night Wednesday at Venteux takes out all the guesswork without sacrificing quality. We offer a $75 3-course prix fixe dinner for 2 that will satisfy all the senses. With a simplified (but delicious) menu, you can focus on whoever’s sitting across the table from you and get lost in the evening. To make matters even more romantic, all bottles of wine are 50% all evening on Wednesdays.

Is there a better way to appreciate your company than having wine over dinner, and enjoying a quiet conversation with your company. The week is long, so breaking up the monotony with a midweek date night may be just the thing you need to break up the monotony and treat yourself and someone special. Just bring your date, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Choice of 1st Course

While it’s common to see a soup and salad pairing, our soup and salad creations are so unbelievably delicious on their own that you’ll have to make a choice. But what a choice it is. Tasting the savory warmth of our French Onion Soup with Gruyère and chives is such a heavenly experience that you’ll not even once second guess yourself for choosing it as a starter. If you’re looking for a little more vegetation, our Spring Bibb Salad with Bibb Lettuce, French white asparagus, radish, comte, pepitas, and cashew-dill dressing will rock your world and make you say “Soup? What soup?”

Choice of 2nd Course

Here’s where it gets tricky. Do we want our second course to be from the land or sea? While decision making is never easy, we present you with a challenge and a solution. While our Roasted Chicken with black truffle cream, potatoes, and herbs is worthy of only the highest praise, it’s tough to make a call when you’re presented with our Mussels that are accompanied with smoked ricotta, harissa, and fennel. Having to make a choice this difficult may seem like a problem, but we have just the right solution: why not both? If you and your date decide that you can’t decide, then sharing with each other may be the best way to spend your date night.

Choice of Dessert

After all is said and done, it’s time for something sweet to put a cap on date night. Crème Brûlée with quince, lychee, and almond always seems like a good choice. If that sounds a little too rich for you, there’s always our Financier with pistachio, lemon curd, and raspberries to give you a zesty and fruity finish. Really there is no wrong decision when it comes to desert, so if you can’t make up your mind on this one, you’re always welcome to come back next Wednesday and change it up! FINANCIER- Pistachio, lemon curd, raspberries

Now that you know what’s cooking, it’s time to put down the planner, and make a reservation. The hard part is over. The food, venue, and menu has been taken care of. All you need to do is show up ready for a date night that will turn into a fond memory.
